ILLEGAL COLLECTION OF DUES AND COMPULSORY SALE OF JOURNALS TO STUDENTS

In a circular released on 26th January, 2016 to all Deans of Faculties, the University Management obseved, with great disappointment, the illegal collection of dues and compulsory selling of journals to students at points of registrations at the Faculties and Departments.

These actions are not acceptable to the University Management and hereby directs all Deans to ensure that such funds are returned to affected students and comprehensive report on transactions be forwarded to the Vice Chancellor's office immediately.



The Chairman Of ISRA KSU Anyigba ‘Evaristus’ Hands Over To Nakoss President

On 02/02/2016 exactly at 5pm, Under the Supervision of “Mrs Omachanu (S.A.O) the chairman of the ISRA Anyigba finally hands over to Abdulmalik Hadi Adinoyi (IRIMI) The Nakoss President KSU Chapter as Acting S.U.G President.

Here is the Remark of The New Acting President of S.U.G in His Words:

Today, I take over from my dear Brother Evaristus as the acting president of the Student Union Government with mixed Feelings. I feel honoured and privileged to be entrusted the leadership of Students Union Government in Kogi State University.
I appreciate the outgoing Assembly for their Sacrifice and string will for having above all other Achievements keep sacrosanct the Synergy between all student groups on campus and other relevant stakeholders within and outside the University Campus.



The activities that lead to the formation of ISRA and eventual Handing over to me now does not call for celebration and as such I’ll be by the Grace of God and the Corporation of the school management and my fellow brothers and sisters wishing the the scope of student unionism at various level and ensure the conduct of the Student Union Government Elections as quickly as possible.
With the commitment of the Vice Chancellor Prof. Mohammed Sanni Abdulkadir, one can say without doubt that KSU is heading towards greatness.



I also acknowledge the Office of The Dean Students Affairs, Dr Benjamin O. For his untiring support for the development of Students bodies on Campus.



I call in regardless of the political, ethnic and religious divides to come and let’s join hands together for the betterment if all.

Finally, I appreciate us all for the journey so far and encourage us all to carry on as the challenges ahead are much more than the ones we have overcomed.
