The Senate of Kogi State University, Anyigba, has approved the recommendation of the Curriculum Committee to rename "Geography & Planning Department" as "Department of Geography & Environmental Studies."
A memorandum signed by the Registrar, Dr. Y.I Abubakar, and confirmed by SUG, P.R.O, Ogiri Cosmos said with the change in nomenclature, the Department would award B.Sc. Geography.
The change is confirmed to be with immediate effect
