Ksu Asuu Did Not Honour A Meeting Held In Lokoja Yesterday By The Governing Council To Discuss Strike Issues

Ksu Asuu did not turn up for a meeting that held yesterday in lokoja demanding the governing council to come over to anyigba for the meeting. JAC turned up for the meeting with the governing council as deliberations ended well where JAC promised to call for her congress and consult its other members within state owned institutions before calling off the strike. From information reaching me staffs has started receiving alerts for march salary as February which is supposed to be paid earlier before now has was ceased by the government because of the introduction of TSA account. But efforts are been made to recover the salary from the government before tomorrow runs out. In another development, the EAA for January, February and march is also been processed before tomorrow runs out in order to meet up with the may 15th deadline. Another meeting to be slated between the governing council and ASUU within next week as members of council are coming from different part of the country. Thanks
