Kogi State University Lecturers To Embark On Strike On Wednesday [Read More Details]

Two weeks ago, kogi state universty’s ASUU committee gave the state Government 21 days to pay them their 5month owed salary.

It’s almost 21 days and the students of the institution are desperately waiting to see whether the lecturers will embark on the strike or not. Meanwhile, rumour has it that on a close meeting with the Vice Chancellor, it was stated that: the VC has plead with the ASUU committee there is no place he can get finance to pay the lecturer.
The lectures are to embark on a embark on a no pay no work strike on Wednesday.

Exams is quite close, and the students are pleading the school authorities and the government to look into this situation as the strike will lead to another delay and causing more days for their acadamy.
While on the other hand, some students are happy about the strike if it holds.
