Wife of Kogi State Governor, Mrs Rashida Bello has felicitated with workers across the state on the occasion of the May Day Celebration, assuring that workers’ welfare must surely improve under the All Progressives Congress, APC-led administration in the state.
in a statement on Sunday, through her Special Adviser on Media Mrs Olamide Adesoro in Lokoja, described the civil servants as the engine room of the government considering their efforts in policy formulation as well as implementation.
She assured of government’s support to their welfare.
Mrs Bello also promised to use her pet project KOWEYF to assist in bringing succour to the people of the state irrespective of social stratification.
She urged civil servants to be supportive of the present administration by offering useful suggestion that can move the state forward.
This is even as she affirmed that the celebration is the first to be witnessed under the APC led administration and expressed optimism that the condition of service will surely improve.
