A crush is a short term mad attraction towards another person because of some unique quality possessed by the person. A person could have a crush on another for varying reason ranging from physical appearance to skills possessed to general behaviors etc.

While both males and females at one time or the other find themselves caught in the Web of this mad attraction, girls generally have more pluralized reasons for developing crushes on a person. Males are generally more attracted to a girl’s physical appearance more than anything else. A guy is most likely attracted to a girl because of her looks… Great smile, big booties, colour, build etc.
However, girls have the most awkward sense of attraction. Aside from the general good taste for funny guys, pretty faced boys, tall dark and handsome guys etc… A girl could develop a crush on a guy for the weirdest reasons. Through my relations with girls overtime I have gotten familiar with the weirdest things that a girl gets attracted to….

1.  Good handwriting :

This is most common in secondary schools. Some girls develop some sort of attraction towards a guy with a really attractive handwriting. It then winds up in the girl always borrowing the guy’s notebooks and then the guy starts getting automatically more attractive to the girl.

2.  Craftiness:

You know those guys who seem to be good at everything when it comes to little handwork around the house…the type of guy who fixes the light when it goes out before the electrician comes, fixes the leaky roof, fixes the generator before the mechanic comes, cooks for himself…some girls find this quality absolutely attractive and could be easily attracted to such guys.

3.  Sporting geniuses:

No much explanations needed here. In a society that appreciates a particular sport, a very good player of that sport gets the girls’ attention most. For example, girls crush on the best footballer around, especially if he has gotten quite popular for his sporting prows.


4.  Good maths skills:

Generally, girls like brilliant guys, but once a guy has a special knowledge of mathematics, it gets divine. It starts from the girls crowding around him whilst he solves maths problems to their delight. I’ll admit it myself, it’s like sorcery when a guy solves those figures effortlessly. Anyway, girls get easily carried away by the sweetness of seeing a guy dissect those maths problem easily and it leads to some physical attraction towards the guy. Wondered why the best math student in your class had lots of girls flocking around him?


5. Smooth soft voices:

…something like Ed Sheeran’s 

Its an obvious fact that girls  crush  on good singers, but it goes way beyond that. Girls are also mad attracted to guys who have smooth soft voices. Yes, most girls develop a huge crush on a guy who’s got that chilly bedroom voice when he talks.

6. Thick masculine voice:

Remember James Earl Jones from Coming to America? Yes, the King. Hakeem’s father. That deep sharp voice…

Girls are not also interested in guys with soft voices, but sometimes they love deep bass voices too. A girl could develop a crush on a guy who’s got a radio presenter’s voice. Deep and sharp when he speaks. As weird as it sounds, it’s true.


7.  Walking steps:

Watch where you’re going.. And how you walk there

Girls like guys who have Charming walking steps. Call this crazy but it’s true. I’ve heard girls say more than once-
 “I like the way he walks…”. 
Yes, girls find a particular walking step attractive. And yes some girls could develop a crush on a guy for just his walking step. So watch how you walk, you never know who is watching.

8.  Accessories :

Girls are attracted to guys who wear some certain accessories. For example, a girl could get attracted to a guy just because the guy wears good wrist watches. Different girls have different tastes though. Some girls love guys who wears chains and some others shoes.

9. Instrumentalists:

Those guys gifted with playing instruments, guitars and pianos, na them pack girls pass for church. But the king girls-magnet are the drummers. There is something about the guy with the sticks. Girls automatically find you more attractive when you are drummer. The drummer in church has more crushes than the cutest guy in church.

10. Social media popularity:

Come the likes, come the girls.

I don’t know why, but many girls are madly attracted to a guy once he gets popular on social media. It doesn’t matter whether or not he’s smart or dumb, good looking or ugly… As long as he is popular on Facebook, Twitter or instagram, girls start crushing on him.

Note However that these doesn’t apply to all girls, as some are more emotionally mature than the others. And have in mind that what a girl finds attractive about one person another girl might not. But in the general sense, they are true.
