In the ASUU meeting held today, 20 April 2015 the members of the academic staff union (ASUU) was reported to have called off the strike and after declaring the suspension of the strike on the terms given by the government, as about 30 minutes
latter they came out to say that the sum of 100 million naira which was to be paid to there account has not been credited, hereby making the strike to continue till the agreed
sum has been paid to there account.
After hearing the second news, the student matched to the school main gate on a PEACEFUL protest to tell the government to release the money as soon as possible so that the class should be opened for lectures.
They have also demanded that Governor WADA should pay the agreed sum within the next 24 hours if not the students will storm the lokoja in a PEACEFUL protest.
