ILLEGAL COLLECTION OF DUES AND COMPULSORY SALE OF JOURNALS TO STUDENTS

In a circular released on 26th January, 2016 to all Deans of Faculties, the University Management observed, with great disappointment, the illegal collection of dues and compulsory selling of journals to students at points of registrations at the Faculties and Departments.
These actions are not acceptable to the University Management and hereby directs all Deans to ensure that such funds are returned to affected students and comprehensive report on transactions be forwarded to the Vice Chancellor's office immediately.

APPOINTMENT OF NEW DEANS
Following the various elections of Deans between November and December 2014 into the various faculties, the Vice Chancellor has formally issued letters of appointment to all successful candidates.

They have been urged to be transparent, honest and dedicated to their new assignments as they will be held accountable for quality of service delivery and research within the faculties.
