The English Premier League defending champions are 16th in the table after losing four games.
Ahead of this weekend’s clash against Aston Villa at Stamford Bridge, Mourinho feels the visitors will not be intimidated.
“Maybe. Maybe. One thing is to go to a stadium where there is a huge percentage of defeats for the away team,” Mourinho said during his pre-match press conference on Friday.
“Another thing is to go to a stadium where the home team in the last four games has won only once. I really believe every team coming to Stamford Bridge doesn’t fear us. They think they can get a result.”
The Chelsea manager was recently given a suspended one game ban and fined £50,000 following his comment about the referee after their home loss to Southampton.
Mourinho however states that he will appeal the decision.
“Yes, I will appeal,” he said.
“Maybe I am naive (And I know that I can use that word) but for me English football and its fans and passion for the game, what makes me like so much this country and the football in this country is not the FA. It’s the people. If one day I have to work for that people I will."
