Kogi State University Entertainment Industry is currently on a paradigm shift as new students have set in to show what they can do to make the entertainment industry on campus better, Ranging from bloggers, to artist, event planners, show promoters, dancers, models, graphic designer and not forgetting the hip-hop heads (underground Rappers). Kogi State University have birthed Rap artist who has graduated like Levi, Danter, Lethal Technique, Sinno, and the late Phatprinz amongst others who has contributed a lot to the Rap music in KSU and some notable individual on this list. This list was compiled by strict review and it is free from bias judgements. All songs on this list was promoted online on blogs, and has a miminum downloads of 2,000 as gathered and has been performed on a live show/event on campus. The songs on this review list was released within the time frame of late last year and this year.

1. Jay teaz - Comot Your Cap

Jay-Teaz is an Artist to reckon with as he sings and rap effortlessly.

After winning an award last year as kogi State university best rapper in ksu celebrity Award Nite, he has since then been trending on campus and around Mid-belt Nigeria.

The young Rapper decides to release this fresh single this Year February titled "Comot Your cap" which has gained massive airplay. Prod by kinQi.

2. Mogunz - Kamikaze

After taking a pretty long albeit needed break from music,the self acclaimed backpack lyricist and poet Mo'Gunz bounced back with this fire offering which he titled Kamikaze. The former BAM rapper uses his crazy diction, extraordinary flow, deep lyrism and ever witty punches to give the fans a peek about his newly found faith. Kamikaze was produced by Classified Beatz

This Track was released January this year, it was suppose to be a comeback track for Becee as he has been off for a long time from the ksu entertainment scene to work on his Mixtape titled Retro Play which we are still anticipating till now. 4. Smaj - SCBI (smaj can be ibile)

A rapper from kogi state, Ajayi Samuel by name from Kabba zone #SmajCanBeIbile meaning SMaj can be local. He is one Rapper to watch out for as he always try to be consistent and tries to explore his music. He is a versatile Rapper who flows with English and can flow in Yoruba too. Smaj is not just a Rapper, he is also a producer, videographer. He flows effortlessly on this beat trying to pass a message that he is also a local Rapper.

5. Mofebin - BEMF

Mofebin Rose to fame on campus after he released his first official single under his former label DPM last year, he titles the track B.E.M.F which means Enemies Baba E M*therFker. He flows effortlessly on a beat produced by Klassickbeatz and lacing it with a single along chorus.

6. Soto Sk - Obasanjo

Soto Sk who is also known as Mr I Dey Alrite is an artist that is full with energy when it comes to stage performance, he has in the time past created a niche for his kind of music when he released a track titled "I dey Alrite" and shoot the video immediately. He became one of the most sort after rapper that year. Obasanjo is a nice song that was well produced by KinqiOndebeat.

Its been a really challenging year as Kogi State Entertainers try to merge Academics with their studies.

Orobo Suseyin is Kogi state University biggest Hit single of All time. Every student on campus can lip sing chorus of this song. Orobo Suseyin is well accepted by Students in Kogi state and outside Kogi state. Lectures love the tune, its one of the most requested song in shows/parties and on air. Oc green became popular on campus because of the reception of his song.
