Hilarious!! University Student Sues School After Failing Exam Twice

A Pennsylvania university nursing student is suing the school after failing a required course twice, saying anxiety and depression made it difficult for her to concentrate.

Jennifer Burbella claims her Misericordia University professor did not do enough to help her pass a class on adult health patterns.

Burbella said the professor gave her a distraction-free environment and extra time for her final exam when she took the class the second time, but did not respond to telephoned questions as promised, giving her even more stress.

Burbella said she started to break down in tears because of the lack of help.

She said the Catholic university gave another disabled student better accommodations and that her treatment violated a federal disability discrimination law.

Burbella entered the university’s nursing program in 2010 and struggled toward a bachelor’s degree in nursing because of her conditions, the lawsuit says, and experienced great anxiety due to social and academic challenges and family medical issues.

After failing the first time, Burbella says the university forced her to re-take the class in a summer session that began four days later, causing “great trepidation.”

The Citizens’ Voice reports Burbella is seeking more than $75,000 in damages.

Burundi Coup - President's plane barred from landing, returns to Tanzania

Following the order by Burundian army general to shutdown airport and borders in the country, ousted President Pierre Nkurunziza has returned to Tanzania where he was attending a summit, officials said.

Nkurunziza was at a summit in Tanzania when a top Burundian general, Major General Godefroid Niyombare, launched a coup to overthrow him.

Hours after the coup, the president attempted to leave Tanzania for Burundi to deal with the situation but Niyombare had ordered his men to ground the airport and the borders to prevent Nkurunziza from returning home.

A source told BBC that the plane turned back after 10 minutes as it would have been unable to land safely in Burundi.

Since Niyombare announced the coup, thousands of Burundian citizens have taken to the street to celebrate the development.

Burundi has witnessed chaos – protests, violence and killings since Nkurunziza declared his third term re-election intention, with many saying the law of the land only stipulates two terms.

Burundian court however cleared the
president to rerun, stating that his second term in office was not through an election, which gives him the right to the third term run.

Miss Zimbabwe may lose crown over nude photo allegations

A year after her predecessor quit over a similar scandal, Miss Zimbabwe 2015 could be stripped of her crown over online photos that allegedly show her posing nude.

Pageant officials said they were investigating Emily Kachote, 25, who won the Miss Zimbabwe pageant on April 26th, 2015 after the photos surfaced on the Web.

Miss Zimbabwe Trust spokesperson Tendai Chirau recently said they were conducting investigations into the allegations, but indicated that if the allegations were proved true, the queen would be dethroned.

“Regulation 5 for Miss World Zimbabwe Trust, which conforms to the one stipulated by Miss World, states that professional or socially in all forms of media posing nude, being in a relationship , sexual advances towards anyone and any behavior categorized as immoral by Miss Zimbabwe Trust is grounds for instant disqualification and/or dethronement,” Chirau said.

“Delegates must maintain a high standard of moral and ethical behavior which in no way reflects negatively upon Miss World Zimbabwe and Miss World Trust. All the 57 models who went into the boot camp signed a form with this information saying they had never done it.”

Chirau said when they conducted the auditions across the country’s provinces, the aspiring contestants were told not to participate in the pageant if they had ever posed nude.

Kachote, who would compete at this year’s Miss World finals, told Zimbabwe’s H-Metro tabloid that she had suspected “these pictures” would emerge but “it happened a long time ago.”

She referred to a date with a man, saying, “We had some drinks, and I had no control over everything that happened that night. I no longer have anything to do with the guy.”

South African Man Raped At Gunpoint By 3 Women

A 33-year-old South African man was raped at gunpoint by three women, who subsequently collected his semen, stored it in a cooler and fled with it. Afterwards, they abandoned their victim.

Read Daily Mail‘s report on the bizarre incident:

The man gave the women directions when they pulled up in a black BMW. Suddenly, one of the women armed with a gun got out and forced him into the back of the car at gunpoint.

The trio then drove him 500km away and fondled him in the back of the car but he did not become aroused, so they forced him to drink an ‘unknown substance’ from a bottle to aid him.

They then raped the man repeatedly and collected his semen in plastic bags, placing them in a cooler box.

The man was then kicked out of the car, 500 km away from where they picked him up in the Kwazakhele township, Port Elizabeth, and made off with the stolen sperm.

The exact same method is being used by women in Gauteng, who are also forcing men to drink from a bottle and stealing their semen but no arrests have been made.

American Woman Jailed For ‘Pinging’ In A Federal High Court In Lagos

Justice Rita Ofili-Ajumogobia of Federal High Court, Lagos, on Wednesday jailed an American for operating her mobile phone in court.

Megan Chapman, Co – Executive Director, Community Legal Support Initiative was locked up by the judge at the court’s waiting cell for about 10 minutes, after an angry Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia walked her out.

The American who was seated at the last bench, directly facing the judge, did not know that Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia was noticing her ‘romance’ with her phone.

Having asked her to leave the court, Justice Ofili-Ajumogobia directed her support staff to escort the American to the waiting cell, where she stayed for about 20 minutes.

She later ordered her release following appeals from lawyers in court.

Confirming the incident, Chapman said she has learnt her lessons, adding that her action was not intentional.

She said: “I was replying an urgent message. It was not like I intentionally disrespected the court but I have learnt my lessons. I have apologised to the court for my action.

“The prison officers were kind to and treated me well in the short period I was there.”

Asked what brought her to court, Chapman said she came in respect of a fundamental rights suit her group filed against the Ojora of Lagos, Chief Abdul Fatai Aromire.

The case marked FHC/L/CS/346 was instituted by the NGO on behalf of residents of Badia East in Apapa-Iganmu LCDA, who were not parties nor represented in suit LD/443/2002 decided by the Supreme Court.

The affected residents have allegedly been terrorised and threatened with demolition by Chief Aromire, who they claimed brandishes the Apex Court judgment to extort money from or dispossess them of their lands.

At the time this reporter left the court, the matter, which was slated for mention, was yet to be called.

Psycho Man who ate victim's heart to prove he's not gay sentenced to 18 years in prison

A psycho of a murderer, Andrew Chimboza, who ate his victim’s heart 'to prove he wasn’t gay' has been sentenced to 18 years in prison in South Africa, reports Times Live.

The 35-year-old Zimbabwe citizen, was found guilty of murdering 62-year-old Mbuyiselo Manona in cape Town last June after police found him eating his victim's heart.

Police spokesman, Frederick van Wyk said:

"On the scene, they found a suspect, a Zimbabwean national, busy eating the heart of a human with a knife and fork."

Manona had allegedly attacked Chimboza after accusing him of having sex with his partner, but the younger Chimboza pulled a knife on Manona and stabbed him to death. He then went further to eat the man's heart just to prove he was not gay as he was accused.

Chimboza’s confession to the Cape Town High Court is chilling:

"I then took a knife and slit his throat and continued to stab him. I was so angry that I did not remember how many times I stabbed him or where.

I sit upon him and stabbed him on the chest, tore out his heart and took a knife and then sliced his heart and then I ate his heart.

The reason for me to eat the unknown guy’s heart was to show him that I am not a moffie (gay) and after I finished eating the heart, I realized he was dead."

In Nepal Christians gather to pray despite horrific earthquake which turned collapsed churches into mass graves

Reports say that despite the terrible earthquake which destroyed homes, schools and places of worship, Christians are still gathering to praise God.

Many Christians lost their loved ones who had gone to their various churches to worship, reports say entire families were wiped out in the earthquake which killed over 7,300 people.

A survivor, Maili Tamang clapped and sang along as the remnants of her husband's Kathmandu church gathered for a noon prayer one week after a massive earthquake collapsed the "roof of the world," Christianity Today reports.

"In God’s time, anything can happen," the 55-year-old mother told CT. Tamang lost her husband Maila, her sister, and three other family members when Vision of Salvation church, which rented rooms in a four-story commercial building in the Swayambu area of Nepal's capital, collapsed with 62 worshipers present. Seventeen members of the Pentecostal church, where Tamang's husband served as an elder, died, including senior pastor Elia Ghale and his son.

"We cannot decide our future or what happens to us," she said, surrounded by cracked walls. "Even after the world, we will be with God.”

Tamang was worshiping at a nearby Pentecostal church when the quake struck.

“I was standing in a row near to the wall and praying when the trembling started. The pastor continued the prayer and suddenly, everything collapsed,” she told CT. “I was half conscious and could heard people screaming. After one hour I was pulled out. While lying there, I knew God would save me.”

Meanwhile, pledging to spread God's love "even though earthquakes come," a small evangelical church in Nepal completed on Saturday its worship song interrupted by last week's natural disaster in the Himalayan Mountains.

Maili Tamang lost her husband Maila, her sister, and three other family members when Vision of Salvation church collapsed.

The first-hand account from the International Mission Board is one of many reports surfacing of how Nepal's Christian minority is regrouping after a 7.8-magnitude earthquake collapsed many churches during their main weekly worship services.

Reporting by CT in Kathmandu reveals that an accurate tally of churches destroyed and Christians killed remains hard to come by, since anecdotal reports can be duplicated or exaggerated. But it is clear that many Christians died in their churches during weekly prayers. (The Baptist World Alliance reports about 150 Christian deaths have been confirmed.)

“I am getting reports of entire Christian families being wiped out in Kathmandu and outside,” Simon Pandey, chairman of the National Christian Fellowship of Nepal, told CT in an interview from his home in a Lalitpur suburb.

If the quake had occurred half an hour earlier, he noted, the casualties in churches would have been much higher. (Many Hindus died during worship services also.)

“The evangelical churches have suffered terrible tragedies,” Kala Bahadur Rokaya, general secretary of the National Council of Churches of Nepal, told CT. “It will take time to count the deaths among Christians across Nepal. Many areas are still cut off.”

He feared more bad news was yet to come from mountainous and remote districts such as Gorkha, Sindhupalchok, and Nuwakot, which have many evangelical churches.

Of Nepal’s Christians—which comprise between one and three percent of the country’s 30-million population—Protestants were disproportionately affected by the disaster, a Catholic leader told CT.

The earthquake, which killed more than 6,000 people, damaged dozens of churches in and around Kathmandu, Nepal's largest city. A partner of Wycliffe Associates filmed the aftermath.

“The Catholics were lucky as we don’t have church prayers at noon,” Bishop Paul Simick told CT as he observed the wreckage of Vision of Salvation church.
