Gov Yahaya Bello Makes First Appointments

Newly sworn in Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has made his first appointments.

In a statement signed by the Governor, Mr. Onoja Edward David is the new Chief of Staff to the Governor. Before his appointment, Mr. Onoja Edward David who hails from Ogugu in Olamaboro LGA of Kogi State has risen to management positions in several bluechip enterprises in both the Financial and Oil & Gas Sectors of the Economy.

Also appointed are Abdulkarim Omuya Adubi Abdulmalik as Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to the Governor and Kingsley Olorunfemi Fanwo as Chief Press Secretary to the Governor.

Abdulkarim hails from Ihima in Okehi LGA of Kogi State while Fanwo hails from Takete Ide Amuro in Mopamuro LGA.

The appointments are with immediate effect.
