After a short break from the industry due to his academics, Oluasugar (Formally known to be sugarboy) an undergraduate of AAU, Ambrose Alli University edo state, decide to bless the street with his latest single set to drop soon titled "Igboro"

Although we heard news about the name dispute between him and Sugarboy (Popularly known as A1) Kiss Daniel label mate. But before we bring you the full story and the song, here are little things you need to know about Oluasugar

OLUASUGAR born "Ehimare Jeffrey", is a REGGEA and Pop Singer, songwriter and dancer who hails from Edo state. The young artiste is blessed with a sensational voice coupled with graceful personality and a humble confidence that has informed comments about him.

He started writing musical lyrics on wide range of topics, in his Junior Secondary school days. And He released his very first single at the age of 14.

His style of music has been influenced by great musicians like: Chronixx, mavado,M.I, P Square, Tuface Idibia, oritse femi, Cynthia Morgan, patoranking etc. He has featured in many music competition and performance in his territory and ends up thrilling and carving a niche of fans for himself.

Oluasugar is here with a classic tune titled "Igboro" A song I am sure good music lovers won’t find it difficult relating to.

Exclusive Interview: Okos Talks About His New Music, Relationship With Mum, And His Record Label

Hello MIK blog Readers, Its been a long time that we have host an Artist on our interview session. This time around, Myself Raj thafinxt Decides to Feature one of kogi State University Most Promising Artist Okos who recently Drop a new song titled "Lola" which has been gaining massive downloads. Below is the Excerpt of the interview


Raj: Good day sir, can we meet you?
Okos: A lovely day.I am Otakhor Okojie freedom also know as okos, I am from Edo state, the first of four children of my parents.. Currently a 300level banking and finance student

Raj: Nice. Tell us what inspired you to become a Musician
Okos‬: Hnmm.. I will say its inbuilt.. And it came out at its destined time. Bcos I remember my mum told me I use to sing since when I was a child.. Then I could compose songs out of someone else's song
Dats why wen I told her Dis it wat am into. It did not come as a surprise to her

Raj: Ok. So how are u getting support from your family?
Okos: Yea... It has been fair on the part of my mum... She supports me in prayers and other wise. she is my backbone

Raj: Talking about your recent song titled "Lola" which is gaining downloads online, what inspired you to dish the song out?
Okos: Wow wow wow... First of all,I will thanks to God Almighty for the success of the song. I got inspired when I heard the beat den I was like,wat will I give to my fans,something dat will make dem feel happy when ever they listen to.. Then the chorus came up from I don't just know... So I worked on the verses.. And it came out great


Raj: What message do you intend to pass to your fans through your music cause There are many Nigerian songs out there that lacks message
Okos‬: Nice question.... I have made up my mind to do songs that carries lots of messages.. Songs dat will bring love among Nigerians, songs dat will heal broken hearts nd souls, songs dat will make u feel loved, so many more.. But songs with good messages dat even the elderly ones will love listening to

Raj: Nice. Apart from being a student and an Artist, what else do you do??
Okos‬: Lol... Apart from being an artist and a student... I will say I am also a worker.. But am just waiting for the day I will drop my pen so I can go into music fully bcos dats my calling

Raj: So tell us, which A list artist Do like? That you would want to do a collabo with?
Okos‬: By the grace of God
I love 2baba,Davido, wizkid,,and the rest. So I will love to do a song with dem.. Of which I know will be shortly

Raj: So are you signed unto any management?
Okos‬: Oh mmehn... I am bringing up a label with a friend of mine who resides abroad.. Which is FSNRECORDS.. Which means FLAWLESS SELF NATIONS... We are trying to bring it to the world.. So we are working very hard on dat... But the doors are very wide open for sponsorship

Raj: Ok. Before we go off, tell us about plans and what your fans are to be expecting from you?
Okos‬: My lovely fans... .. Me and my team we are working very hard to bringing the best to ur table and for ur listening pleasure... We are working on great songs and collaborations dat u are definitely gonna love so many plans of which I am not gonna let out of the bag now... The best is wat we have for you

Raj: Good evening sir, can we meet you?

Mc FunnyMouth: Thank you very much, My name is Opaluwa Isaiah Ojochenemi Aka Mcfunnymouth Aka mr Concept and the CEO Opaluwa Entertainment. I am a student of Kogi State University Anyigba,from the Department of Theatre Arts and presently in my Final year I am from Ofu local government area of Kogi State

Raj:Can you tell us sir, how you started off as an Mc

Mc FunnyMouth: I discover my self that the thing was inborn from childhood and I was just pushing it just like that..and as I keep Growing I decided to give it a meaning and make the impact count

Raj: How was your first performance like and which event was that

Mc FunnyMouth: Thank You...like I said my performance is dated back to my childhood days so I can't really recall my first event but I believe it was successful

Raj: As a young, up and coming Mc, what are the challenges you do face

Mc FunnyMouth: Thank you for that question,I believe my strong challenge is Finance and getting Connect to Destiny changers that which I know will be a thing of the past surely as the Lord Liveth

Raj: Ok sir, Talking about events you have planned, tell us about them

Mc FunnyMouth: Ranging from my country Home down to were am schooling now I have planned so many Event that God has helped us to be a success and one of my event I will never but stop talking about is a program I tag Ksu Talent Invasion in which we featured a hilarious program tag miss Big BolD and Beutyful,it was a suceess and de second volume is coming up shortly

Raj: As an indigen of Kogi State, and an Igala boy, what's your perception about entertainment in the state?

Mc FunnyMouth: Thank you for this crucial question.well to say that entertainment is not welcome in kogi and In igala land is an Open lie but the challenge some of us face here is the lack of sponsorship were by people love what you are doing to the blood but not aware that they can make millions of Naira if they invest In your talent but I am always Optimistic that things will change for Good because the only Permanent thing is change

Raj: About your Inspiration to crack a joke and to deliver on stage, how do you come about it

Mc FunnyMouth: Thank you for this question, sir permit me to tell you that comedians are serious minded people, I get inspired from true life story, from books, from the Holy Bible, from the church, from my mentors and relatively from any happenings around me per time......That is why as an Mc and a comedian of the federal Republic of Nigeria I go about always with my pen and paper because as the inspiration comes I document it immediately and God has been faithful. Because He is the Father of all Inspiration

Raj: How do you handle gossips and side talks from people?

Mc FunnyMouth: Any time I notice gossip and side talk I remember one of tuface song to handle it, that song were em talk say

"if nobody talk about you then you are no body weda na tru dem talk or na lie ooo my guyi walahi......."

hahaha don't mind me
my voice don dey crack.... So that is de answer to gossip and side talk because it must always come

Raj: So what should we be expecting from you, what are your plans

Mc FunnyMouth: Good question sire,what to expect is all God decision and that same God has given us the authority to declare and see what we have declared so in no time from now,which can be any moment expect to see your Mc as a Generational impact vessel Via Entertainment because This Profession is for serious minded people

Raj: So what do you have to say to upcoming Mcs and Comedians?

Mc FunnyMouth: Well this game is in hierarchy some people pass you and you pass some people the watch word for people were we pass and people that care to learn because no body is an island of knowledge is that We all try and be Humble and we should all wait for our time also to drive my point I want to quote my no 1 mentor PST Dr Paul Enenche who was speaking about service and Diligence He said that One should work for the Service and not for the money...that is were passion comes in and a man of passion is a man of impact and a man of imapact is a man of Destiny Fulfilment like Gods Servant Pst Dr Paul Enenche


Raj: Thanks for your time sir, any final words to your fans and well wishers out there?

Kreativemindz9ja: Can we meet you sir?

Dr Laff Laff: I am Kayode Ogunrinade .
Popularly known as doctor Laff Laff.....
I Am a comedian, an MC, am also an Eventplanner and a Student.

Kreativemindz9ja: How long have you been performing stand up commedy?

Dr Laff Laff: I started 2010 back in school and I guess this year will make it my 6th year as a Stand Up Comedian.

Kreativemindz9ja: Have you hosted any comedy show since you started stand up commedy in 2010?

Dr Laff Laff: Yes.....I hosted a show under the auspices Of Laff clinic in 2012, and by Gods grace I have been able to host 2 successful shows, Bida must Laff and Laff and Love -a valentine special programme with over 1500 people in attendance....that's in the year 2015 and 2016 respectively...and presently, I've gat something cooking.

Kreativemindz9ja: Sir how does it feel like being a comedian. Whats your life like off stage?

Dr Laff Laff: My feelings about being a comedian is Just like You having the opportunity of giving joy to your world at that specific time on stage...I mean, the Joy of a Nigerian Lady who's being proposed to by dangote's son at This era....The feeling is just Awesome....

And talking about my life off stage....trust me, its the Hardest part,..You know I just have to be normal, I have to be conscious..so my life off stage Is Just Normal....

Kreativemindz9ja: what is the dumbest rumour you've ever heard about yourself?

Dr Laff Laff: The dumbest rumour I've ever heard about myself that is that , am to fond of myself and that I am full of Pride.

Kreativemindz9ja: What do you have to say about it?

Dr Laff Laff: In life, I have what I believe and stand For, "Not Everyone will love you for who u are, Not Everyone can celebrate your success or change of levels". It takes Real Friends to do that ,Most people Just Hate you for your Self esteem-They mistake It For Pride....am Me, I love been ME, nothing changes that, I can't be the pride guy, At least not yet, there are a lot ahead to achieve first...And God only Resist the Pride, but Exalts the humble.

Kreativemindz9ja: As a stand up comedian do you write your own routine?

**Dr Laff Laff:* Sure I do...my strenght on every stage flows from written Jokes.

Kreativemindz9ja: Where do you get your materials from? like what are your source of inspiration for writing jokes?

Dr Laff Laff: My Number one source of inspirations is the Bible....as you know, am a Christian, and I do more of gospel comedy...so I use stories, events, Happenings from the scriptures and Secondly, Preachings from men of God, their stage charisma, Language...also from teachings of my lecturers. Also from other Comedians who have gone ahead of me. you know... experience is a Teacher.Then lastly, From my friends.

Kreativemindz9ja: What happen if people don't laugh?

Dr Laff Laff: Wow......as in...you really making me laugh....anyway...it has never happend...I don't climb or mount any stage Normal, I mean, ..my Audience don't have a choice..They Must LAUGH..

Kreativemindz9ja: How do you deal with heckler?

Dr Laff Laff: please, this English try and be breaking them down, am an engineering student not a Mass Communication student....

Kreativemindz9ja: An Heckler is somebody who insults, makes fun of, or teases.

Dr Laff Laff: Okay...back to the question,.virtually,I don't answer them when its like backbiting..but when am being insulted on stage,I react,but make it more of humour and Jokes...that's where d thirst of Spontaneity comes in,I automatically takes anything from a fan and converts it into a joke...and Life goes on



Kreativemindz9ja: Am really a big fan of you sir. can you tell us where you see yourself in the next five years?

Dr Laff Laff: Okay...the next five years,sincerely I see myself in Aso rock,as in, in the presidency of Nigeria...but please, not as the president of these country oooo...but doing a deal with the presidency of the Country...lolxxx..I see myself at the top.

Kreativemindz9ja: okay sir what do you have to say to your fans out there

Dr Laff Laff: To my fans out there, I love You, thanks for being an inspiration, keep doing what you doing, Stay out of trouble, and Hold on to God, without Him,u go broke these era oooo.... and please keep praying for my Ear ooo,.make e no block.
